Spacing out With Some Holiday Fun!

Reach for the stars! This Halloween season is all the rage at Space Center Houston with its Galaxy Frights event.

The Johnson Space Center is one of MANY exciting locations within the Clear Lake area. This sunny and prosperous area of town is home to many ideal retail and dining spots. For residents in the area with an artistic eye and a love for all things fashion, the stylish shopping venues of this district can’t be beaten and the local Clear Lake High School and college have celebrated many years of high academic achievement for their students and alumni.

But easily the biggest draw is the close proximity to the famous NASA Mission Control Center. Residents and visitors have the opportunity to experience the historical wonders of space technology coming alive and the Johnson Space Center allows future generations of astronauts to relive the full thrill of space exploration. The Space Center is within easy access to all residents in the surrounding area, from apartment residents at the Riviera at Clear Lake to seniors retired at The Shores at Clear Lake Senior Living to travelers staying at the nearby Courtyard by Marriott. Regardless of where you are in the area, Clear Lake is a free and open district where the fun never stops, and this event is no exception!

This October 30th and 31st, Space Center Houston is launching its first-ever Galaxy Frights event, socially distanced for guest and crew safety. This scare-free event will feature a series of entertaining activities including costume parades, ghostly nebulas, speakers, candy stations, music, a scavenger hunt, and more! With a heavy focus on science and technology, this event is sure to be a fun, but educational experience for the whole family.
