Halloween is coming soon and, with it, comes one of the biggest events at Six Flags! Fright Fest is always a huge show-stopper when it comes to rustling up some excellent Halloween-themed entertainment. And for those living in the Dallas area near Six Flags Over Texas, there’s a reason to get excited!  This year, the park will feature Thrills By Day, a series of outdoor daytime experiences for the entire family including the brand-new Dead Man’s Wharf and Looney Tunes Spooky Town. The Fire & Ice Festival will feature a wide variety of great things to see and do, including The Frosty Snowhill, four live performance stages, the Fire and Ice Marketplace, the Mystic Acres Winter Wonderland, and a Dancing Fountain Show at Texas Star Mall. And to put the icing on the cake, guests will get to enjoy the glow of millions of twinkling lights at the Fire and Ice Light Show every night after dark, along with fireworks.  While I’ve covered Six Flags Over Texas before, this is the perfect place for all Dallas and Arlington residents to enjoy if they like high-speed adventure and family-friendly fun. And now as the park is celebrating its 60th anniversary, there will be plenty of op...

Ever since the tragic demise of Houston's beloved Astroworld in 2005, the Lone Star State's desires for coasters, rides, and thrills have never been fully quenched. Luckily, thanks to Dallas' huge degree of convenience, residents can enjoy a sense of real excitement with close reach to Six Flags Over Texas, Dallas' largest theme park attraction! Six Flags Over Texas is located primarily just 20 minutes out of Dallas in the Arlington area. This quiet, sunny part of the state is known for its easygoing, lively atmosphere, especially when it comes to entertainment. Six Flags Over Texas stands as its biggest attraction, especially during the holiday season. Going on right now, Six Flags Over Texas is engaging in its yearly Holiday In The Park celebration. Guests can enjoy special forms of holiday entertainment, seasonal treats, Christmas lights, visits from Sant...
