Image
Spring is here, or at least it will be here in Texas very soon. What better way to enjoy the season than experiencing the magic that is the great outdoors? Enjoying some quality nature can really help when it comes to getting the fresh air and exercise your body needs to be at its best! And since you’ve probably been hitting the couch for so many months like I have thanks to Covid, it’s definitely a good idea to go out and experience some quality time out and about.  Located on 5808 McKinney Falls Parkway , McKinney Falls State Park is the perfect place to spend a day out in nature, complete with natural limestone formations and scenic wooded areas perfect for an afternoon hike. The green forest trails are also excellent for biking and guests can even enjoy some quality time at campsites and cabins when they’re ready to unwind. Enjoy an introspective look at Austin’s indigenous vegetation and wildlife, along with a beautiful view of Onion Creek flowing into the falls. There’s even ...

Minute Maid Park is Now The Biggest Place to Be For Covid-19 Vaccinations in Houston!

Image
For those of you anxious about new developments with the Covid-19 vaccine in the Houston area, look sharp!  On the 16th of January, the Houston Health Department and the Astros Foundation partnered together for a second Covid-19 vaccination mega site at the famous Minute Maid Park! This event featured 2,400 pre-scheduled appointments and 2,600 new appointments, with plans to vaccinate 5,000 people in total. The site featured the first dose of the vaccine and was assigned to Houstonians who met Phase 1A and Phase 1B of the state’s criteria.  Though chances are you or your family were not among the first wave of Houstonians to receive the vaccine, this is nonetheless a crucial event to note! Why? Because the vaccine will soon be out soon for everyone to take part in! And, as expected, Minute Maid Park will continue to be the number one place for Houstonians to get what they need to protect themselves against Covid. When it’s not the Covid season, Minute Maid Park is the best sp...

New Clinic Opening for Apartment Residents!

Image
With Covid-19 far from over, I can’t stress enough how important it is for all Houstonians and apartment residents to keep proper track of their health. For Houstonians that are looking to move to a new place during this awful pandemic, it can feel a bit stressful and tricky. The great news is that some residential locations are actually paying attention to the high demand for medical attention during this Covid season and are planning accordingly. Bella Vista Apartments and Townhomes, located near South Dairy Ashford Road, is opening up a new free medical clinic for both tenants and the general public. The Karya Kares Clinic is designed to help residents with all their personal health queries, along with aiding them during the pandemic. All doctors at the clinic are prime specialists in their field and will be volunteering their time for this ambitious project. While full details about the clinic itself are still murky at the moment, everything I’ve heard so far suggests that th...

Vaccine Season Has Arrived In the Houston Medical Districts!

Image
The time has finally arrived for Houstonians. Slowly, but surely, we’re moving closer and closer towards the end of Covid-19. Naturally, things will take a long time to set themselves back in order. But the good news is that we’re almost out of the woods. With the Covid vaccine now available for early circulation, at least to a certain degree, residents living near top Houston medical districts can rest easy knowing that hope is brimming steadily on the horizon. It hasn’t been an easy year for Houstonians, especially with all the craziness that’s been going on thanks to the pandemic. The brand new Pfizer vaccine hopes to curtail any further pandemic-anxieties by helping people build immunity to the virus without getting sick. Word is, based on some research I’ve done, that nearly 95,000 doses of the vaccine are headed to the hospitals across the state, with the vaccine headed to the remaining 86 medical sites to begin shipping later in the week. Among the state hospitals in Houst...
