Zoo Boo and YOU!

Residents with small children within driving distance of the Museum District--take note! Break out the candy corn and let the wild rumpus start! Going on right now until November 1st, the Houston Zoo is featuring its annual Zoo Boo celebration!

The Houston Museum district features some truly spectacular sights and events, providing an artistic and educational experience for all its residents. From Hermann Park to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this district has tasteful art and culture in spades! The quick and easy commute to the Houston Zoo is no exception, especially for parents with animal-lover children. In terms of daily life in this district, especially for apartment residents, there are a plethora of different options when it comes to school and nature resources. Residents in Bayou Park Apartments and students at St. Thomas High School will have easy access to the famous Buffalo Bayou and Buffalo Bayou Park, along with enough affordable residential housing to go around. This area matches the naturistic aesthetic perfectly as it has plenty of green forests, creeks, and trees to please many a nature enthusiast.

Sponsored by LyondellBasell, the special Zoo Boo holiday event offers parents a great opportunity to take the kiddos out on a day of family fun. From the spooky train village to the Scary-Go-Round, youngsters will get to choose from a wide variety of fun activities to celebrate the spirit of Halloween. And don’t think I left out the animals--you can see lions, tigers, and bears (oh my) playing with special holiday enrichment from carved pumpkins to ice pops.

Naturally, the event will be hosted with utmost guest safety in mind and, while this year’s pumpkin patch and candy giveaways are unfortunately canceled, there’s still the chance to take part in some truly delightful holiday fun with the family.

This event will be included as part of general admission and is free to all Zoo members. Make sure you buy your tickets and make your reservations online here before you go!
