An Out-Of-This-World Experience at The Houston Museum of Natural Science!
Mars. The beautiful red mass that exists within the list of planets in our solar system. That crimson, rocky terrain has never stopped capturing the hearts of earthlings everywhere, dazzling us all with its mysterious atmosphere.
This year, running all the way into October, the Houston Museum of Natural Science is proudly presenting its amazing Mars exhibit! While there won’t be any Martians, guests can enjoy a truly spectacular high-resolution sculpture by Luke Jerram. The sculpture will feature 120 dpi detailed NASA imagery that has been compiled from Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter data. From distinct craters, canyons, Rover landing sites, and luminescent lighting, this sculpture is sure to be absolutely breathtaking.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is the pride of the Houston Museum District. Complete with an array of informative and exciting exhibits from dinosaurs to scientific reactions to historical artifacts, it’s a great place to visit either solo or with your family. And now, with this great new Mars exhibit, guests can enjoy an interesting look at one of the many beautiful marvels of space. If you’re someone studious with a natural curiosity about the amazing world we inhabit, this is an excellent opportunity.
In terms of living near the Museum District, Houstonians can take their pick of a variety of excellent living selections. My recommendations? Easily Bayou Park Apartments and The Broadmead. Not only are they super close to the Museum of Natural Science, but they also have all the best amenities and affordable pricing one could ever want in an apartment community. I’ve found that they easily provide the best bang for your buck overall, from convenience to affordability alike.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science always has something going on year-round. Even with Covid-19 still burdening the area, special safety precautions will be set in place to ensure that all guests stay safe and healthy during their visit. For this special Mars exhibit, Adult Tickets start at $25 and Child Tickets at $16. Children 2 and under are FREE and those with their military ID can get their tickets for only $10. The exhibit’s hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. For additional information, you can visit their main website at http://www.hmns.org/.
Come check out this great adventure into the heart of space. Though it may be many years before we’re finally able to make the big trip up to the planet itself, guests finally have the chance to have a real up-close look at the mysterious red planet out there among the stars.
