An Artistic Eye For FUN: Houston’s New Van Gogh Exhibit

If you’re someone with an artistic eye and an active imagination, chances are you’ve probably heard of the works of Vincent Van Gogh. Just about everyone has seen the famous Starry Night piece, whether it was through pop culture or school. And even if you’re unfamiliar with his works, Van Gogh’s brilliant paintings are truly a sight to behold, something you will not want to miss in your lifetime. 

With that said, Houstonians now have the opportunity to experience Van Gogh’s paintings in their full glory! A secret location in Houston (to be announced soon!) is featuring a brand new exhibit showcasing the beautiful brilliance of Van Gogh’s world, complete with a 360-degree digital spectacle blazing across the exhibit walls for guests to enjoy. 


This stunning display features images from several dozen projectors and hyper-realistic VR headsets to transform the complete viewing experience into something truly magical. Guests will be dazzled as Van Gogh’s art soars all around the room and fills the eyes with a symphony of color. It’s definitely something one should see, if not to appreciate the lasting impact Van Gogh has had on the world of art.


While the location of this event is still a mystery, Houston still has a wide variety of great places to live that are spread out all over the region. Places like Barcelona Apartments, Bayou Park, the Broadmead, Champions Green, City West, and Tivoli at Vintage Park all offer a solid degree of friendly variety as well as affordable prices for anyone looking for a great apartment to enjoy in the Houston region. There’s a high degree of mystery surrounding this exhibit, and for good reason considering how surreal and beautiful it will prove to be! Tickets will be released HERE. This event is expected to sell-out pretty quickly so I would definitely get my tickets as soon as they are available. A waitlist will be featured as well.


I’m REALLY excited about this exhibit, speaking both as an art lover as well as someone who enjoys trippy imagery. I’ve heard plenty of people getting hyped for this event and I’m pretty confident that it will ultimately be an experience of a lifetime. So what are you waiting for? Bang For Your Buck: Dallas Tech. Industry Workers Have The Advantage!

There are more great reasons to enjoy living in Dallas if you’re a tech-person!  As I’ve previously mentioned, Dallas has become one of the new great tech-hubs within the country, the “new Silicon Valley” as they call it. And this is no exception when it comes to the PAY that future workers in the Dallas tech industry can look forward to!  According to a report published on January 11th by Austin-based tech company Spanning Cloud Apps LLC, workers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area can expect more than DOUBLE their pay when they work in a tech job. DFW actually ranks fourth among the country’s largest metro areas for the pay advantage in tech fields versus all other occupations. The median annual pay for a tech-job worker in Dallas stood at $91,760 in 2019 compared to the annual pay for other occupations at $40,430.
