When Dinosaurs Ruled...Austin?
Get ready to stomp and roar because the dinosaurs are BACK!
Well, at least they’re back in animatronic form. Dinosaurs have captured the imaginations of millions of adults and children worldwide, myself included. And now, for all Austin residents, you have the opportunity to see them in action at Jurassic Quest’s drive-thru event!
This attraction boasts hyper-realistic, life-size animatronic dinosaurs and prehistoric sea life, giving guests an up-close and personal look at these amazing giants that once ruled our world. As an updated means of adapting to Covid-19 restraints, guests can now experience the full attraction from the safety of their vehicles.
Go on an online audio tour that will help you navigate across the exhibit, encountering life-like dinos right from your car! For parents with young ’uns who are absolutely bonkers about dinosaurs, this is a perfect opportunity to feed their curiosity, as well as teach them more about prehistoric science and history.
Jurassic Quest has made its mark across major Texas cities, with Austin being the latest of the set. But the good news is that Austin always has some of the best places to visit, as well as a constant array of great things to see and do for locals. For apartment residents, especially those in my favorite affordable apartments nearby including Northstar, Park at Crestview, Falls on Bull Creek, The Reserve, and Treehouse Apartments, you’ll find that you’ll always have quick access to ideal hotspots in the area.
Tickets for Jurassic Quest typically run at $49 to $80 per vehicle. This event will take place at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. For additional information, you can check out their main website HERE. Make sure you try for a time when things aren’t too crowded!
While you can definitely bet on this attraction fully opening next year once Covid-19 has lessened, this drive-thru opportunity is a great way to participate in a fun, educational experience while still playing it safe! Bring your whole family and enjoy a real blast from the past at Jurassic Quest! Just make sure to watch your little ones around the T-Rex!
