Foodies Rejoice!

Houston is always game for new events to satisfy a hungry stomach.

And what better way to experience the culinary thrills that Houston has to offer than to celebrate via a festival of food? You heard me, Houston’s premier food festival is here to celebrate the literal spices of life that make us whole with some great food, fun, and family time.

On May 29th and located in Midtown Park, the 2021 Houston Food Festival will feature food from over 70 different food vendors from Houston, Austin, and other surrounding cities. You can expect a delicious blend of all your favorite meals, from tacos to gumbo to ice cream. There will even be vegan options, along with some truly delicious BBQ for guests to munch on for hours!

Sounds like absolute heaven if you ask me. There will also be plenty of outdoor space as well for those of you who are conscious about Covid-19. Just make sure to wear your mask and socially distance. There will also be some great music at the event as well, with local bands onstage to rock the day away. If you’re looking for something to do with your kids or friends during the Memorial Day weekend, this has your name on it.

Houston’s friendly community never stops giving when it comes to quality events for residents to enjoy. Houstonians can take their pick of plenty of Memorial Day experiences to enjoy and it’s all because Houston truly loves the locals and provides endless hours of entertainment. If you’re a resident at great locations like Barcelona, City West, Waterstone Place, Villa Nueva, and Heritage Apartments, you can definitely bet on smooth sailings when it comes to finding some of the best local festivals and events in the city.

The event will take place from noon to 10:00pm. Tickets will run from around $5 to $9. I think it’s a pretty good deal for what you get out of it. It’s just a great overall experience to take advantage of some delicious food as well as a way to socialize with other Houston locals in the area. If you’re looking for a place to get tickets, you can visit their main website HERE. Make sure to grab your tickets before all the spots fill up!

Don’t miss out on making your Memorial Day weekend a spectacular one! Let’s chow down, Houstonians!
