Journey to Candytopia

Looking for something SUPER SWEET to do in Houston?

Look no further! Starting from July 14th running all the way to August 30th, the city of Houston is hosting the sensationally sticky and spectacular Candytopia! This candy-coated adventure features more than one dozen rooms filled to the brim with larger-than-life candy-themed interactive art.

These amazing art installations will feature full-fledged sensory experiences including the most popular attractions from the event’s past locations along with new elements inspired by local culture and landmarks unique to the city. So if you’re a proud Houstonian looking to capture a sense of warm-hearted recognition for Houston’s best displays, this is definitely the place to experience the magic! Really, it’s all one big Willy Wonka-esque wonderland full of tantalizingly captivating candy-themed imagery that is certain to capture the awe and imagination of Houstonians everywhere, especially for families with kids that can’t get enough of tasty treats!

Houston is always showcasing some of the most imaginative events in the state. It’s really a great city to settle down and raise a family, as well as just a great place to explore for some unique opportunities. Houston benefits from extraordinarily-affordable apartment living that anyone can benefit from as long as they know where to look. My recommendations? Definitely Casa del Mar, Buena Vista, Sedona Pointe, Diamond Hill, and The Providence at Memorial. All these apartments are affordable, pet-friendly, and have everything you need to fit right in as a Houstonian!

Houston’s Candytopia event is definitely going to be something you simply CANNOT miss, especially if you’re a fan of fascinating, imaginative imagery as well as basic sugar-coated goodness. Tickets are running from $28 for adults and $20 for kids aged 4-12. Children 3 and under are FREE though so that’s a big bonus! If you’re looking for more information on this event, you can check out their main website link HERE

The event might be running throughout the months of July and August but I definitely suggest taking advantage when you can! I suspect this event is going to be VERY popular with Houstonians so don’t miss your chance! Buy a ticket and see for yourself why candy truly is dandy.
