Enjoy a Day on the Green at Houston’s Waterwall Park!

If you’re a Houston resident, what better way to enjoy a bit of fresh air and relaxation than out in the great outdoors—or, at least, outside where all the sunshine is! 

Houston’s Waterwall Park is an iconic location you’re sure to never forget, complete with plenty of open space, summer fun, and of course, its amazing Waterwall attraction! I have some very fond memories of visiting as a child and I cannot begin to describe how utterly breathtaking the entire experience is! The wall itself is ENORMOUS and you will absolutely love the wide host of amazing photo opportunities ready and waiting once you strike a pose!  


The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park features a lush canopy of live oak trees, perfect for climbing, or taking your little ones out and about. It’s situated in the beautiful Uptown sector of Houston, complete with plenty of welcoming attractions and accommodations for everyone to enjoy! Additionally, the park is situated around a wide green field, absolutely essential for sports events, walking your dog, frisbee, and more! It is just an all-around excellent opportunity you’re sure to want to enjoy on a weekend stroll. 


Houston features some of the absolute best places to live, whether it’s Uptown, Midtown, Downtown, and more! There are always plenty of great amenities and services waiting for you no matter where you live! My personal favorite apartments include Barcelona Apartments, Casa Del Mar Apartments, Eden Pointe Apartments, Buena Vista Apartments, La Primavera Apartments, and The Diamond Hill Apartments. All these stellar selections feature welcoming staff and cozy corners for all!

Houston’s Botanic Garden Presents Nature Connects!

If you’re a fan of both Lego and the great outdoors, there’s a brand-new exhibit coming to Houston residents just in time for Fall!   Houston’s Botanic Garden will be presenting Sean Kenney’s “Nature Connects” an exploratory outdoor exhibit featuring an awar d-winning display of beautiful nature-themed works made from Legos! The exhibit celebrates the beauty of natural ecosystems across nature, exploring the delicate balance that combines us all together.   If you’re a parent who wants their children to explore the beautiful landscapes and fresh air that surrounds the Houston Botanic Garden, this is definitely the perfect opportunity.
