Jacksonville is full of plenty of exciting outings and engagements to make local living an absolute joy! 

Among the many great places to visit across the region, one of the best places to drop by would have to be Jacksonville’s Museum of Science and History! This engaging, family-friendly museum is absolutely ENGULFED with great activities for everyone to enjoy, complete with a host of stellar exhibits, including a science theater, energy displays, nature exhibits, a plant courtyard, a space science gallery, and more!  


For parents who are eager to get their kids to have fun learning, this is definitely up your alley with the museum’s endless supply of amazing activities and events! There will be the opportunity to engage in animal encounters, discover how to cultivate plant life and planetary preservation, study interstellar space exploration, etc. Plus, the museum has weekly and monthly events to ensure that you’re never left wanting in terms of new activities!  


Jacksonville is a great place to live, from its thriving Florida weather to its friendly, welcoming community. There are plenty of great apartments in the area to choose from, especially those near the Museum of Science and History! Bang For Your Buck: Dallas Tech. Industry Workers Have The Advantage!

There are more great reasons to enjoy living in Dallas if you’re a tech-person!  As I’ve previously mentioned, Dallas has become one of the new great tech-hubs within the country, the “new Silicon Valley” as they call it. And this is no exception when it comes to the PAY that future workers in the Dallas tech industry can look forward to!  According to a report published on January 11th by Austin-based tech company Spanning Cloud Apps LLC, workers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area can expect more than DOUBLE their pay when they work in a tech job. DFW actually ranks fourth among the country’s largest metro areas for the pay advantage in tech fields versus all other occupations. The median annual pay for a tech-job worker in Dallas stood at $91,760 in 2019 compared to the annual pay for other occupations at $40,430.
