Every Dog (And Houstonian!) Has His Day at Houston’s Dog Fest!
Is there anything that ISN’T great about dogs?
Definitely not, especially for excited Houstonians looking for something great to do this weekend. This Saturday, the city of Houston and Pets Alive will be hosting its annual Dog Fest! This amazing, tail-wagging event features FREE admission and all the dog-themed treats and activities a person could ever want!
Guests are encouraged to bring friends, human and furry alike, as they partake in an exciting day of free dog training, craft beverages, food trucks, vendor market shopping, dog adoptions, photo opportunities, and more! There will even be a special “Goodest Dog” competition for those of you looking to enter your pet into the festivities!
This event is highly family-friendly, and all proceeds will directly benefit animals in need across the city. It makes this event all the more worth it, especially with a sense of goodwill and showing needy dogs and cats that you care! And with an excellent selection of food, drinks, and fun, it will provide an absolutely exhilarating atmosphere for everyone!
Houston is home to some of the best apartments around, with plenty of great residences available for pet-owners! Some of my favorites in the area include Casa Del Mar, Barcelona Apartments, The Diamond Hill, The Providence at Memorial, Sedona Pointe, and Establishment Apartments. They all come equipped with plenty of open space for dog-owners, with excellent pet policies and wide-open dog parks for all! It is totally worth your time if you’re looking for great local places to settle down with your pet!
Houston’s Dog Fest is definitely a worthwhile experience for animal-lovers across the city. Stop on by and bring your best buddy for a first-class adventure you will never forget! The event will start at 2pm on Saturday, May 14th.
