Whine for WINE at the Houston Spring Wine Fest!

Houston is pretty much the next California at just how great its sunny weather can be. And like California, it’s always game for a great party when it comes to its local festivals! And with Spring just starting to shift towards Summer, why not cap the season off with a great way to enjoy some good drinks, food, and fun!

On May 1st at 1:00 pm, Brenner’s on the Bayou is featuring its Spring Wine Fest! Guests can enjoy its fine selection of the best wine from the most exclusive local winemakers while strolling across the perfect scenic grounds across the green. There will be live music and guests also have the opportunity to participate in a Kentucky Derby-themed contest! Some of the local winemakers include Duckthorn Vineyards, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Stout Family Wines, Le Chemin Du Roi, Rose Gold Rose, DAOU Vineyards, and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

And the best part? There will also be Landry’s Chefs on-hand to prepare and share some truly delicious light snacks and bites from seven of Houston’s top restaurants. After all, what’s good wine without something to nibble on? Some of the listed restaurants include La Griglia, Willie G’s, Cadillac Bar, Grotto, and Brenner’s on the Bayou. It’s all just a wonderful combination of atmosphere, good wine, and good food--a complete success in my opinion.

Houston hosts some of the best venues for dining and entertainment, as well as some absolutely great living options! Places like Capewood Apartments, Tivoli at Vintage Park, City West, and Barcelona are some of my favorite affordable places to live in the area, as well as just great places for free and easy commutes all over. Houston really is one of the best places to settle down for some great pet-friendly services at great apartment communities.

The Spring Wine Fest is a great opportunity for a truly fun outing with family and friends. Tickets typically go around $99 per person. For additional information, you can check out their main website at this handy link I’m providing HERE.

Spring is only around for so long and it’ll be a whole year before we see it again! Take some time to make the most out of the season with this great social event! Now if you excuse me, I have some wine to taste!
