Welcome To the Chalk Walk!

Looking for something new and exciting to do near the Austin area?

Austinites need not look further than the nearby city of Round Rock. This October 1st and 2nd, the city will host the Round Rock Chalk Walk Arts Festival! This colorful, creative festival will feature the works of hundreds of artists, vendors, sponsors, local/regional musicians, theatrical performances, food, drinks, and plenty more! And for those of you with little ones, there will also be plenty of play areas as well as performances to keep everyone entertained!

This amazing festival is a huge showcase when it comes to the art and imagination of so many talented artists across the area, including live chalk drawings that will make your heart soar! It’s truly a spectacle to behold and I wouldn’t miss it for the world, especially when there’s just so much to see and do! The big thing to see at this festival will definitely be the huge chalk mural that all the artists contribute to with their street paintings. Definitely a must-see that you’re not going to want to miss!

The great thing about this festival is that it’s located only 22 minutes away from the Austin area! So if you’re living at great apartment locations like Northstar, Park at Crestview, or Treehouse Apartments, you should have no trouble at all getting over to the festival with ease. And since Austin weather is always great, there should be plenty of sunny skies available for a perfect day out with friends and family!

This event will take place starting at 2pm on October 1st and 10am on October 2nd. If you’re looking for some additional information about the event, you can check out this handy website link HERE

For anyone with a creative mind and an artist’s eye, you can expect a vibrant outing full of plenty of opportunities to mingle and enjoy some great activities and fun! Grab your cameras and your chalk and head on out next month!
